Artist Biography

Li Liqiong (art names: Jin Peng Gu Zhu, Liu Xiang Zhai Zhai Zhu) is a National First-Class Artist based in Yueyang, Hunan, China. Her artistic journey is deeply personal; after a diverse life experience, she resumed painting near the age of fifty, dedicating herself to floral and natural landscape oil painting.

To refine her craft, Li pursued formal studies at esteemed institutions such as the Li Keran Painting Academy and the Beijing Tongdao Art Association. Her style fuses Eastern poetic aesthetics with Western painting techniques, creating a distinctive visual language.

Li is known for her delicate color palette and layered brushwork, portraying natural flora and rural landscapes with a balance of Eastern lyricism and modern oil textures. Signature works include Cockscomb Flower, Agapanthus, and Ancient Village Pears, which have won multiple awards in domestic and international exhibitions.

In 2025, Li’s artworks were featured on the Nasdaq screen in New York’s Times Square, marking her as a prominent figure among contemporary Eastern female artists.

Li firmly believes that art transcends age. True creation is a dialogue between the soul and nature and a re-expression of one’s life journey.

李丽琼（号金朋谷主、留香斋斋主），国家一级美术师，湖南岳阳人。

她的艺术道路充满个人色彩：在经历丰富人生后，于近五十岁时重新拾起画笔，专注花鸟与自然风景油画的创作。为了追求更高艺术造诣，李丽琼先后深造于李可染画院、北京同道画会等专业机构，系统学习油画色彩与构图技法，结合东方诗意美学与西方绘画语言，形成独特的艺术风格。她擅长以细腻色彩和层叠笔触描绘自然花卉与乡土风景，作品富有东方抒情意境与现代油画质感。代表作包括《鸡冠花》《百子莲》《古村梨情》等，屡获国内外展览大奖。2025年，李丽琼的作品登上纽约时代广场纳斯达克大屏，成为东方女性艺术家中的亮眼代表。
